Social Chain AG has acquired the tech lifestyle brand Vonmählen. The founding team around CEO Julian Thormählen remain on board. Vonmählen designs, produces and markets high-quality tech accessories tailored specifically to the needs of the digital world. The Lüneburg-based company develops products in various categories such as Phone Accessories, Charging Cables, Power and sound for mobile devices.

Vonmählen has generated a large part of its revenue in the B2B business to date. With the involvement of Social Chain AG, Vonmählen will continue to expand its B2C business in particular, focusing on direct sales to end customers. According to the German E-Commerce and Mail Order Association (Bundesverband E-Commerce und Versandhandel, behv), the electronics and telecommunications segment is the top-selling product group in e-commerce, just slightly behind clothing. In 2020, sales in Germany alone amounted to EUR 14.7 billion.
